When shopping for Christmas gifts, it’s easy to make a little extra effort to look for gifts that give back. Many retailers and brands donate a portion of sales of specific items to charity.
Recently, I came across the mark Linked to My Heart Bracelet. Retailing for just $30 from meetmark.com, 100% of the net proceeds from each bracelet ($21.63) are donated to m.powerment by mark, a dedicated fund to breaking the cycle of dating abuse and partner violence.
This chunky chain bracelet features a medallion with a heart on one side and the m.powerment by mark emblem on the other side.
Another way to give back during the holiday season is to give a donation in the name of your friends and family, rather than giving out gifts. Presents are great for kids, but as adults we really don’t need more stuff (unless it’s shoes or eyeliner
).
