Kim Kardashian is getting married soon, but she isn’t too busy to launch her latest limited edition fragrance — Love by Kim Kardashian. In fact, she’ll be wearing the fragrance on her wedding day.
The soft, feminine scent opens with top notes of sparkling red currant, pink freesia and star jasmine. A heart of French mimosa, rare Egyptian tuberose, and rose absolute orpur eases into a rich background of sensual musk, creamy sandalwood, and orris butter.
“I used to think falling in love was the most incredible feeling,” said Kardashian. “But now I see there’s nothing more special than the enduring beauty of building a life with your other half and watching your love grow, each and every day.”
The fragrance comes in an amazing platinum finish bottle encrusted with 450 hand-laid clear cut stones. Only 1,000 bottles were produced — Kim is keeping one for herself to wear on her wedding day and giving away 200 at her bridal shower. So that leaves only 799 left to share with fans. Each limited edition bottle is numbered and signed by Kim. Priced at $100, Love by Kim Kardashian is available at kardashianfragrance.com.
While Kim and her man, NBA player Kris Humprhies, are set to get married on August 20, 2011, you’ll be able to watch the wedding in a two part E! special in October. Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event will be airing on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. and Monday, Oct. 10 at 9 p.m.

Kim Kardashian celebrated the launch of her new fragrance, Gold, at the Macy’s Fashion Show in Las Vegas this past weekend. Kim explained the simple name for her perfume: “Gold is a luxury that stands the test of time, a universal symbol of sophistication and glamour. Like a stunning piece of precious jewelry, Gold lends everyday style a surge of seductive sparkle and timeless beauty.”
While many celebs are launching light, fruity-floral scents — Kim’s fragrance is a bit heavier, with a mix of florals with woods and amber. Gold feature:
- Top notes of bergamot, grapefruit, pink pepper
- Mid notes of jasmine, rose, violet
- Base notes of amber, sandalwood, patchouli, benzoin, musk
Kim Kardashian Gold eau de parfum is on store shelves as of this week at Macy’s Valley Fair in San Jose, Macy’s Oakridge in San Jose and Macy’s Palo Alto at Stanford Shopping Center. Look for a wider release soon. The 3.4 oz bottle of Kim Kardashian Gold retails for $65.

On Saturday, April 30, 2011, Katy Perry launched Purr by Katy Perry in Melbourne, Australia. Katy headed over to Mural Hall for a press conference where invited media learned about Katy’s inspiration and her involvement with the fragrance. Following the press conference, she greeted her fans, signed autographs, and officially introduced Australia to Purr by Katy Perry.
Available in the U.S. at Nordstrom for $45-65, the fruity-floral fragrance features notes of peach nectar, forbidden apple, Bulgarian rose, vanilla orchid, musk and sandalwood.

Check out the latest fragrance from Jennifer Lopez.
 Since 2002 with her first scent, Glow by JLo, Jennifer Lopez has tapped into the fragrance industry to the tune of more than $1 billion in sales over the course of 16 launches. And this month her latest creation, Love and Glamour, became available.
Created together with perfumers Honorine Blanc and Harry Fremont, this luxurious fruity-floral fragrance features juicy top notes, floral mid notes and musky base notes. The result is an extravagant scent without the extravagant price tag.
The Love and Glamour collection includes eau de parfum in two sizes, 1.7 oz. for $49.50 and 2.5 oz. for $58, plus a 6.7 oz. body lotion for $27.50.
Though some celebrity fragrances are horrible, I’ve always been a fan of the perfumes from J.Lo. Check it out at your local department store.
