When you step out to a party this spring, put your best face forward with the perfect makeup just for springtime.
Get rosy
Your blush shouldn’t be too heavy when the weather warms up. Pick a rosy shade and apply it directly to the applies of your cheeks, then sweep slightly upward and outward. Use a light hand when applying blush so that it doesn’t look overdone. If you have dry skin, try a cream blush rather than a powder.
Wing out
For a spring party, winged eyeliner (not as drastic as Amy Winehouse!) is just perfect. It adds a girly-girl touch that makes your face look unique and puts the emphasis on your eyes. To make your eyes really pop, add a little white eyeshadow or white liner near your tear ducts. It will make your eyes look bigger and brighter.
Gloss up
Put down your lipstick and put on lip gloss instead. For a daytime date, you don’t need makeup that is too heavy or too dark. Find your favorite lip gloss and stick with it. Some glosses get goopy or sticky, one of favorites is Clinique Long Last Glosswear. It comes in 18 shades, protects your lips with SPF 15, and lasts up to eight hours.

Spring makeup is flirty and fun. Check out the latest spring makeup color trends and add a new product or two to your daily routine.
 Purple eyeliner
If you find yourself always wearing black eyeliner, spring is a great time to change things up a bit with some color. This spring, look for eyeliner in pretty shades of purple. A happy lip is one that doesn’t have flaky skin, looks perfectly kissable and is above all – smooth. With the winter being here, it’s easy to simply throw on Chapstick and believe that it’s medicated abilities will serve you well as you go about your day. But we all know that lips that are moisturized are not immune to flakiness!
Make sure that you do have a lip gloss or balm that is slightly heavier that will have all the enriched elements that will make it easier for you to stay winter fresh. In addition, exfoliating your lips should happen year around but in this season, it’s even more of a must! We all have our favorites – we’re loving Jane Iredale’s Sugar and Butter Lip Exfoliator which is compact and in pink. We’ve been using it quite a bit and have noticed that some guys have snagged it from us to use it too – the brown sugar scrub is amazing and the other end has the plumper!
Finally, drink plenty of water as this is a phenomenal way to keep your lips continuing to look youthful as if you’re ready to head onto a Cover Girl ad any second!
