Foundation, which is in our opinion, the best new foundation to hit drugstore shelves.  Now, for those that struggle with the word “foundation” for the connotations it implies (heavy), this is the foundation for you.  Fit Me! is all about breathable, natural coverage and beautifully blendable color that actually matches.  The formulas are free of oils, waxes and other ingredients that can weigh skin down and clog pores.  The pigments and filters are lightweight and help to keep the formula light and airy.  With 18 shades to choose from, you are sure to find one that works for you, for the winter and then a darker one come summer. fit-me-foundation

Our experience with Fit Me! is that it feels like you aren’t wearing foundation, similar to a tinted moisturizer.  For those looking for a real “foundation,” this may not be totally right, but for those that don’t want or need heavy coverage, this affordable formula is ideal!  However, if you do need to add some coverage to certain spots or blemishes, the line ALSO includes six coordinating concealers, pressed powders, blushes and bronzers to ensure you contour a look that’s right for you for day or night.  I’m also a huge fan of the chic packaging as it reminds me of a more expensive foundation you would see at Sephora, which is always a plus!   Finally, the formulas are numbered by intensity, which makes it easy to coordinate products and find the right shade to “fit you.”

New Face of L’Oreal: Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani is the newest face of L’Oreal Paris. The 41-year-old will join Beyonce, Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez in repping the brand.

You’ll be able to see Gwen’s first commercial this Sunday, January 16th, during the Golden Globe Awards. Her first campaign is for L’Oreal Infallible Le Rouge lip color.

“I can’t believe I get to be one of the L’Oréal Paris girls,” Gwen said, “I love playing dress up, on stage or shooting videos, it’s always been one of my favorite parts of being in a band.”
