Recently, Revlon Brand Ambassador Jessica Biel debuted a special cut of “Hypnoteyzed,” her commercial for Revlon’s new Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara in Times Square.

The new Revlon mascara conditions and plumps eyelashes by 200 percent. Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping mascara will be available in drugstores and mass retailers nationwide on June 1. The 60-second film noir-inspired commercial features Beil along with musician Pharrell Williams and is shot on black and white film. The “Hypnoteyzed” ad will begin running in US movie theaters on June 13.
Wearing Gucci clothing and Christian Louboutin shoes, Biel looked absolutely gorgeous at the event in Times Square. Revlon Global Artistic Director, Gucci Westman explains how he created Jessica’s look:
“To give Jessica a luminous complexion I used my new favorite makeup from Revlon — Revlon Age Defying with DNA Advantage Cream Makeup in Soft Beige. The amazing moisturization properties of the makeup, with SPF 20 protection, make this a perfect summer foundation for women of any age. For the mauve color on her cheeks, I used Revlon Matte Powder Blush in Blushing Berry. Since today was all about long, lush lashes, I wanted to bring focus to the eyes, so I added just a touch of color to lids using the dark brown eyeliner from the Naturally Glamorous CustomEyes Shadow+ Liner palette inside her bottom and top lashes. I groomed her brows with the ColorStay Brow Enhancer just a bit and then applied the NEW Revlon Grow luscious Plumping Mascara –- one coat was all I needed! For a subtle flush of color on her lips, I applied the Revlon Matte Lipstick in Really Red lightly with my fingers.”

At a recent beauty industry event I was given a huge bag of goodies and BY FAR, my favorite product in the bag is MAC’s Haute & Naughty Mascara. It appears to have launched last summer and so I have no idea how I just learned about it now, but for those like myself who have been missing out, let me clue you in on this amazing mascara. This is a two-in-one mascara (yes, it has two ways of opening to give you two different looks), that lets you choose if you want lashes to be naturally defined, or instantly combed and loaded for full-on drama. The smaller opening (pink handle) really cleans off the brush so there isn’t much mascara on it, but it gets just enough on to give you a nice, daytime full-lash look. The larger opening is the product you’ll want to wear if hitting the town tonight. It allows for more mascara to get on the brush, loading your lashes with a glorious jet-black color, for greater impact. I honestly have never seen my lashes look better and I don’t know if it’s the color, formula, brush, or a combo of all three but it’s truly amazing. I had multiple people ask if I was wearing fake lashes, so it certainly blows my beloved Maybelline Falsies mascara out of the water. If you want to look haute tonight, this mascara should definitely be on your shopping list. Available at MAC stores for $18.

I’ve never been a big fan of colored mascara — it’s always jet black or rarely brown for me. I’ve seen other women wear blue, green and other shades of mascara beautifully. But on me, it didn’t work.

Recently, I had the opportunity to check out YSL Mascara Singulier in Deep Plum. And now, my mind may have changed about colored mascara.
This plum mascara creates glamorous volume, bold length, voluptuous curl and an amazing touch of color. What I love about YSL mascaras is the separation that you get. Plus, it’s definitely long-lasting and clump-free.
The Deep Plum shade is new for spring 2011 and available now online at yslbeautyus.com for $30.

Oh the eyes have it alright – they are one of the key features that are noticed immediately and should be played up whenever possible! How can you make them look amazing? Eyelashes are the perfect way to make them pop. To ensure that you look fab always, follow the following 3 steps which are perfect for the holiday season as well as going into the new year.
1. Keep it Clean: Eyelashes that look clumpy are never ones that we love to see! Make sure that when using mascara that you avoid clumps via your application or through touching them up. In addition, when you have washed your face, take extra care to make sure that you have removed all mascara as well.
2. Get in the Groove: We all have our ways of applying mascara evenly to take it to the next level. Whether you go from the base out or you like to do slight tugs and shifts – these methods will maximize how amazing your lashes will look when you’re about to step out.
3. Don’t be Afraid to Layer Up: Some people enjoy layering as a means to get maximum volume while having a look that is amazing. Whether you enjoy using one that will thicken the lash and the other that adds in a shimmer or a glimmer, this is a nice effect that will make you look amazing.

Anne Hathaway walked the red carpet for the premiere of ‘Love and Other Drugs’ in NY wearing NARS Cosmetics to create a fresh face that made her look every bit of the star that she is.
Her look was created by Kate Lee who mixed together both sides of Thebes Duo Cream Eyeshadow to brighten up the starlets lids and to add shimmer to her brow bones. This made her have a glow that is definitely achievable when you’re looking at what you want to wear for all of your holiday functions or to even go out to functions in the day time. Does your eye shadow fade away by the afternoon? Follow these tips to help your eye makeup last all day long and into the evening.
Use a primer
Eye makeup primer is worth the investment. It helps your eye shadow stay put. If you don’t have primer, dab a little concealer and smooth it across your eyelids. Add a dusting of loose powder, then apply your eye shadow.
Pick the right formula
If you have oily skin, then cream eye shadow is not going to last all day. Instead, pick a powder formula and apply it wet. The color will be more dramatic and it will last longer.
Curl your lashes
Use a eyelash curler and curl your lashes before applying two coats of long-wearing, waterproof mascara
Use liquid liner
Liquid eye liner might not be as convenient as pencil, but experts say it normally lasts 4-5 times as long. Once you get into the habit of applying liquid liner, it will become second nature.
